Emotions display

Social aspect of many signs is interesting now as many boundaries are gone away and people are allowed to do in public the things which were forbidden just some years ago. And visa versa, many people prefer not to display their personal relationships in public due to their upbringing or country traditions. Another issue is that many people move all around the world and bring new traditions or new signs into the strange society.

Sociology suggests that there is nothing awful in affection display in public. It is natural even. For example, mostly people think that kissing in public, holding each other's waist, hands, shoulders embraces is normal way of conduct. Affection seems to be even positive. Mostly, people used to smile if they see a couple in love. A few people think that it is disgusting. At schools public display of affection is usually firmly forbidden, no matter of the country.

As for the anger and other negative emotions display, it is not forbidden, but it is considered to be unusual and strange if somebody in fury fights people or sits holding his hands crossed over his head right in the park. These people really need help. Through the signs they show that they need help right now. Symbolic meaning of the gestures, tones and movements transfer from the sociological field to the psychological one.

The gestures of desperate like annoyed face expression, tensed sight, crossed hands, unnatural posture are the signal of danger. It is worthy being attentive and warm hearted when you are just walking along the street.
