Nonverbal games

It is evident that the children like playing games. What about the adults? To look through the managerial or psychological improvement courses, we can find out many interesting games which are based on the nonverbal communication and aimed to develop cooperation skills. Not to go too far, let's look at the group games when you are outdoors. The company could be divided into some groups. Every group is given the set of things (cards, beans and similar). Their task is to work out the plan what to do with these things without using a single word. Usually some person takes charge and other people of his group start following him. During this game people learn the communication though gestures and animated facial expressions.

Another game requires some kind of artistic skills and sometimes talent. Someone offers the word. Another person is to show this word through gestures, facial expressions, and body movements. It is forbidden to speak or use some accessories in your performance. The game is over when somebody guesses right. After that it is his turn to offer the word. It is a good game as it does not require competition moods and preparing beforehand. As for the professional skills, it develops ability to explain the things and events quicker, empathy, stimulates mutual work on the task, teaches you to control your facial expressions and body movements and influences people without using the verbal channels.
