Posture

A man and a woman are talking to each other next to you. But you can not hear what they are talking about. However, their posture could tell much. Hands crossed on waist, leaned shoulders, stepping from foot to foot are the signs of very unpleasant and even undesirable conversation. At the same time, posture belongs to those nonverbal signs which could be defined in the collaboration with other nonverbal ways of communication, for example, eyes contact and face expression.

As a matter of fact, posture could tell about your emotions and even interest in the subject. It concerns the teachers and speakers, politicians and TV leaders, first of all. The way how you used to conduct while you are speaking about something is to help you bring life into your idea. A person who crosses his hands or fingers, lets his hands lay still on the table does not show interest in his subject. So, what about the audience? They are not able to accept the information as well. If your speech is followed with monotonous voice, the chances to get somebody involved into your ideas are very small.

Look at the politician leaders when they are performing their program in public. They stand in front of the audience, their back is straight, head is held high, shoulders are drown up and his hands are speaking with him. It is very easy to make an impression of self-assured and confident person if you can control your posture and body movements. In business many agreements depend on your nonverbal signs as well. The scientists say that it is important to reach balance between natural and skilful manner to keep your posture. It is possible to do thanks to regular trainings and mental work on yourself.
